Mom decided the yellow Gerber Daisy needed a stone pattern around it. That's how this all started... Then she added the stones around the perennial greens that will have huge pink flowers seen in the upper left corner of this picture... Then we started the stone "wall" around all of it... but was that enough? No!
Next came more river stones around the 4 Holly bushes seen against the front of the house. The flowers in the first picture you saw are cut off on the bottom right of this photo. The thin tree trunk above is the goofy horizontal pine tree that we're not allowed to cut down. It dripped sap on Mom's hair when she put in the lights around the wall behind the yellow Gerber Daisies.  Below, is the other side of the walk coming from the front entry. When we were done, we put in the lights. It's beautiful!                                                                                                          Continue
